Watercolor This shows two people, obviously not on good terms with eachother, but the fight isn't really about eachother, they're looking for something else. 5 in by 8 in
Chalk pastel This is a pretty standard breakfast for me or some combination of these too. Absolutely delicious. 8 in by 8 in
Pen and ink This drawing is based off of a huge mural I loved near China Town in New York City last fall. It's the NEW version of a NEW York mural for the first project of the 28 day challenge. 10 in by 10 in
Spray paint on wall While I was happy with this stencil and its final product spray painted on a Boulder High classroom wall, I wish that we had not been required to take out part of the painting, the hookah hose that tied it all together. Digital Photography
These pictures were taken about a half hour before sunset in Fairhaven, WA. They show the vibrant yet rustic color palette that I fell in love with in this adorably unique city. 12 in by 12 in
Acrylic on fiber board The two opposites in this piece are meant to contradict each other and show a very distinct contrast. I enjoyed working on fiber board for its smoothness that canvas or wood cannot offer. 24 in by 30 in
Pen and ink I created this about a year ago as my first attempt at pen and ink. The largest struggle was time. Being a perfectionist, I threw myself into mainly the braids until they grew into something I liked, and that left me putting much less time into the rest of the picture. 24 in by 36 in
Acrylic on canvas This piece was the largest piece I have done to date, and definitely on on the ones I put the most time and effort into. It had a couple set backs, the two canvases was harder than anticipated, however the hardest part was realism and proportion. Everyone is there own biggest critic and I found myself changing all the little things I wish I could when I look in the mirror. |
